Upper floor
Upstairs we find the the “Bertesca”, a large and bright room which includes parts of the defensive walls of the castle. An opening is still visible from which hot oil or arrows were aimed at the enemy. All the rooms are bright and are furnished in their own distinctive style.
From the long corridor you then enter the eight bedrooms:
• A room with a bathroom and a small bedroom with an 18th century frescos.
• An English style room with two windows on two different views.
• Three double bedrooms and one single bedroom.
• A suite consisting of a walk-in closet, a bathroom with hydromassage and a shower and two sinks.
• A frescoed room from the with a terra cotta 18th century fireplace with a small bathroom and a large shower. A large glass door opens onto an encaustic decorated bathroom.
• You then arrive at the last twin bedroom.
All windows are of hand-blown glass and the ceilings and floors date from the 18th century.
